The 2023 Leaseurope Future Group
The Leaseurope Future Group programme has brought together 15 young talented individuals from various backgrounds within the leasing industry to explore important themes.
Encouraging innovation and harnessing the talents of young professionals has always been a priority for Leaseurope, the representative body of the European leasing and automotive rental industry. In 2013, during the inaugural Leaseurope CEO Business Council, the idea of creating a platform to nurture young up-and-coming lessors and stimulate innovation in the industry was discussed. As a result, the Leaseurope Future Group was born, and it has been successfully managed in collaboration with associate member Invigors.
Here are the three main themes and the participants associated with each:
The Sustainabilitity Team: Sustainability & ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) with Mandy Berg, Toni Vahevaara, Nicola Apostoli, Caroline Pélissier, and Serhat Eyuboglu.
The Data Team: Date and how to make the best use of it with Marie-Claire Mulaj, Mohamed Oulad, Erika Santamaria, Anastasia Pecullo, and Luis Hergueta Ximénez
The Economics Team: Dealing with the new realities in Economy with Isabella Hedman, Ronan Perrier, Katrin Podewils, Mario Hahn, and Markus Biller
The Future Group program is facilitated by Paul Johnson-Ferguson and Ian Robertson from Invigors EMEA Ltd, along with Stéphanie Van Bakel and Tham Giang from Leaseurope.
The culmination of the program will be the teams' presentations on the 6th of October at the Leaseurope & Eurofinas Annual Conventions, which will be held in Vienna. If anyone is interested in attending the conventions, they can register at www.annual-convention.eu.
The ideas generated through the program are compiled into a comprehensive report each year, which is then shared with the leasing industry, enabling wider dissemination of the innovative concepts.
It's great to see such initiatives fostering collaboration and innovation among young talents. The event in Vienna promises to be an exciting opportunity to showcase the ideas and solutions developed by the Future Group alumni.
